"Born in NY on 1982 Aug 9. Grew up in a Spainsh neighborhood in Queens
NY. Most of my childhood memories were obsessively drawing all the time
and everywhere I could.
Moved to South of Taiwan at the age 10.
Which made a huge influence in my life; hung out with native ground
mountain people, asian gangsters and manga geeks. The whole experince
of the culture and interaction with people there tremendiously
influenced me. Through illustration wise and design wise. I enrolled to
Mingsheng High for Fashion Design, won twice 1st place in Fashion
Design competition and Illurstration competition, 10th in the National
Fashion Contest and won a Honor Award in Fashion Design. After spending
my teen years in Taiwan, I`ve come back to my hometown NYC and am
extremely appreciating this huge mixed cultured melting pot more than
ever before. I`m currently studying in Fashion Institute of Technology
where my works have been held in displays and exhibitions. Next step in
my life is that I`m soon heading off to live in Milan for a year."
Diana is one of the founding independent designers of Indie Industries (a design team within Indie Industries now known as the original twelve). Her illustrated works are featured on graphic tees, tanks, and accessories. Diana is currently designing out of Milan, Italy.
